Here is the blocking for our UIL show.
Each scene has it's own chart (scene 1 is chart 1, and so on). Anytime there's new blocking, like an entrance, it's a new sub-chart (it starts on 1.1, and when someone enters it's 1.2, and so on). Cue lines can be found in the bottom right corner of each chart. Please write your blocking into your script IN PENCIL over the break. If you enter upstage right and cross downstage center, then write "enter UR, XDC" next to your cue line in your script. Have all your blocking written in when you come back from break! On Friday, I sent out an e-mail to parents of Advanced students about a field trip, but the e-mail had the wrong attachment. This morning's e-mail should have the correct attachment.
Also, I've e-mailed citizens of NYC and orphans regarding their "Annie" costumes. If you have a question about a particular item you find, take a pic (preferably of the actor wearing the piece) and have your child show it to me at school. The Advanced Theatre class is taking a trip to Medieval Times! Our UIL show has a ton of stage combat, so we need to watch the pros do it before auditions. All information is in the e-mail for all Advanced students. Yay, swordfights!
Welcome to the News section! Here you'll find info that doesn't fit into the other categories, such as costume information for shows, class assignments, field trips, and more.
