About the directorMr. Robertson was born and raised in Arlington, TX. He graduated with his BFA in Theatre Education from Southwest Texas State University, and with his MA in Theatre Education from Northern Colorado University. He has taught all ages and grades, and this is his 19th year teaching.
In 1997, he was named the Texas Student Teacher of the year, and he is a frequent guest instructor at the Texas Educational Theatre Association convention. In 2002, he was one of 26 teachers in the country to be chosen for the National Institute for Teaching Shakespeare. In 2006, he was chosen again, making him the first person to be chosen twice for this award. He and his wife Courtney live in Denton, where they attend as much live theatre as possible, dominate local trivia contests, and raise their finicky cat Ella, and their rambunctious dog Pippin. |
